Rules for Ordering Unique Costumes and Items in Magicsea Online

Revision of April 22, 2026

1. General Provisions

1.1.    These rules govern the procedure for ordering, developing, paying for, and delivering unique costumes and in-game items (hereinafter — the "Items") in Magicsea Online.

1.2.    The parties to this relationship are the Player (customer) and the Magicsea Administration (executor, which may engage assigned artists and designers).

1.3.    Placing an order constitutes the Player's full agreement with these rules. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt the Player from compliance with them.

1.4.    All Items exist exclusively within Magicsea Online. Transfer of designs, files, or models outside the game is not permitted.

1.5.    The Administration reserves the right to amend these rules. New terms apply to orders placed after publication of such changes.

2. Types of Orders

2.1.    Unique costume — an individual development that includes a full set (torso, head, gloves, boots) or its individual parts.

2.2.    Unique item (weapon) — an individual development of a one-handed, two-handed, or other type of weapon supported by the game.

2.3.    Revision of an existing Item — modifications applied to a previously delivered unique costume or item.

2.4.    Market costumes/items — acquired at the in-game price and governed by separate rules (these rules do not apply to them).

Orders may be placed for:

•      a single race (Lans, Phyllis, Carciz, or Ami);

•      several races;

•      a full set for all four races.

3. Order Procedure

3.1.    Initial request. The Player contacts support via the website or Telegram: https://t.me/magicsea_support.

3.2.    Right to refuse. The Administration has the right to decline an order at any stage before the prepayment is received, without explanation.

3.3.    Providing a reference. The Player provides:

•      a detailed description of the desired Item (images, sketches, description of textures, colors, silhouette, details);

•      the race (or races) for which the Item is intended;

•      the desired name of the Item, including an optional nickname signature;

•      additional requests (effects, animations, sounds — if applicable and technically feasible).

3.4.    The more detailed the reference, the more accurate the result. The Administration has the right to reject a reference without explanation.

3.5.    Cost and timeline estimation. The Administration (or an appointed executor) provides the final cost and an estimated timeline. If the race is not specified in the reference, the estimate covers all four races, which significantly increases the cost and timeline.

3.6.    Prepayment. An order is considered accepted into production only after the prepayment is received.

3.7.    Development stages and revision approvals. At key stages (sketch, rough model, texturing, final version) the Player receives interim results.

3.8.    Final confirmation and payment. Upon completion of the work, the Player pays the remaining balance.

3.9.    Delivery. The Item is delivered to the Player in accordance with the game's rules.

4. Content Restrictions

The Administration will refuse an order if the reference or concept contains:

4.1.    Elements that infringe third-party copyrights (characters, logos, recognizable designs from other games, films, anime, or brands).

4.2.    Obscene, offensive, erotic, pornographic, or violent content.

4.3.    Symbols prohibited by law (extremist, terrorist, etc.), as well as political and religious symbols that could incite conflict among players.

4.4.    Elements that visually copy or mislead with respect to official in-game items, NPCs, bosses, or system effects.

4.5.    Names containing insults, profanity, advertising, mentions of other players' nicknames (except with explicit written consent), or the names of Administration staff.

4.6.    Designs that are technically unfeasible on the current game engine.

4.7.    The Administration also reserves the right to reject a reference on other grounds without explanation.

5. Cost Estimation

5.1.    The cost is determined individually and depends on:

•      design complexity and the number of unique elements;

•      scope of work (individual part, full set, weapon);

•      the number of races requiring adaptation;

•      required effects, animations, and glows;

•      urgency (see Section 6);

•      other factors affecting labor costs.

5.2.    Adaptation for multiple races. Each additional race is paid for separately; the Administration may offer a discount on additional races when a full set is ordered.

5.3.    Name and nickname signature do not affect the cost if agreed at the ordering stage. Adding a signature after work has begun is charged separately.

5.4.    The final cost is fixed after the prepayment is received. An upward recalculation is only possible in case of a substantial expansion of the scope at the Player's initiative.

6. Timelines

6.1.    Timelines are communicated to the Player before work begins and are fixed after the prepayment is received.

6.2.    Timelines may change in the following cases:

•      additional revisions requested by the Player;

•      the Player's response to the Administration's request being delayed by more than 7 calendar days;

•      technical circumstances, illness of the executor, game updates, and other valid reasons.

6.3.    The Administration will notify the Player of any timeline changes within a reasonable period.

6.4.    Priority execution (rush order). Accelerated execution is possible subject to the Administration's approval and an additional fee. Acceleration does not guarantee quality exceeding the standard.

7. Prepayment, Payment, and Refunds

7.1.    The prepayment amount is determined by the Administration on an individual basis (as a rule — a portion of the total cost) and is communicated when the order is placed.

7.2.    The prepayment confirms the order and places it in the execution queue.

7.3.    The remaining balance is paid after approval of the final version and before the Item is delivered in-game.

7.4.    Prepayment refund:

•      if the Player cancels the order after work has begun (changed their mind, did not provide required information, missed approval deadlines) — the prepayment is non-refundable;

•      if the executor is unable to complete the order due to technical or other reasons beyond the Player's control — the prepayment is refunded in full;

•      if the order is terminated by the Administration due to the Player's violation of the game's rules — the prepayment is non-refundable.

7.5.    In case of cancellation, the Administration reserves the right to resell or repurpose the Item and add it to the in-game wardrobe on its own terms.

7.6.    Refunds of payments made after delivery of the Item are not available.

8. Approvals and Revisions

8.1.    The Player receives interim versions at key stages: sketch → rough 3D model → textures → final version.

8.2.    Free revisions during development:

•      up to 2 iterations at the sketch stage;

•      up to 2 iterations at the model/texture stage;

•      1 iteration of final adjustments.

8.3.    The scope and nature of free revisions are determined by the Administration. Revisions exceeding these limits are billed separately at an agreed rate.

8.4.    A substantial change of concept after approval of the sketch (change of style, silhouette, or core idea) is treated as a new order and requires a separate estimate.

8.5.    The Player is expected to provide feedback within a reasonable period (recommended — 3 to 7 calendar days). In case of prolonged silence, the Administration may suspend or close the order while retaining the prepayment.

8.6.    All correspondence and approvals are conducted through official channels (website or Telegram). Agreements reached via other channels may not be recognized.

9. Nickname Signature and Exclusivity

9.1.    Unique costumes and items may be signed with the Player's nickname in the names of all items in the set — provided this is specified in the initial request.

9.2.    The nickname signature is immutable. Even if the Player later changes their nickname, the signature on the Item remains in its original form. Changing the signature is treated as a separate revision and is charged according to the Administration's rates.

9.3.    Exclusivity guarantee. Orders for analogous or visually similar copies of previously issued unique Items are not accepted.

9.4.    Administration's right to reuse elements. The Administration may reuse individual stylistic solutions, technical assets, and auxiliary elements in future Items and game content without compromising the exclusivity of the original Item.

9.5.    Portfolio use. The Administration may use images of completed Items in its portfolio, promotional materials, announcements, and the game's social media, crediting the Player's nickname. Upon written request, the nickname may be hidden.

10. Ownership, Transferability, and Race Change

10.1.  By default, a unique Item is non-transferable (bound to the Player's character) unless otherwise agreed at the time of ordering.

10.2.  The ability to transfer between accounts, sell on the in-game market, or trade the Item is determined at the time of ordering and may affect the final cost.

10.3.  Race change. If the Player changes their character's race but the costume was made only for the original race, adaptation for the new race is treated as a separate order and charged additionally.

10.4.  Loss or malfunction. In case of technical loss of the Item through no fault of the Player, the Administration will restore it free of charge. In case of loss caused by the Player (character deletion, rule violation), restoration is performed on the Administration's terms or not performed at all.

10.5.  Unique Items exist exclusively within the Magicsea Online servers. Discontinuation of the game does not create any obligation on the Administration to refund payments or migrate Items.

11. Revisions of Delivered Items

11.1.  The Administration may make fixes and adjustments to already delivered unique Items in order to resolve technical issues, fix visual bugs, or adapt to client updates — at no additional charge to the Player.

11.2.  Warranty period. Within 14 calendar days after delivery of the Item, minor revisions (color correction, small texture fixes, correction of minor defects) may be performed free of charge at the Administration's discretion.

11.3.  Any subsequent revisions requested by the Player are estimated separately and billed after full payment of the original order has been made.

11.4.  The cost and timeline of revisions are determined by the Administration on an individual basis.

12. Intellectual Property

12.1.  All rights to the final files, models, textures, and other materials of the Item belong to Magicsea.

12.2.  The Player receives the right to use the Item in-game, but does not acquire ownership of the source materials.

12.3.  The Player is not permitted to extract, distribute, resell, or use elements of the Item outside Magicsea Online.

12.4.  If the Player uses third-party materials when providing a reference, the Player bears full responsibility for compliance with third-party copyrights. The Administration is not liable for rights holders' claims related to the Player's reference.

13. Confidentiality of Development

13.1.  Until the official delivery of the Item, the Player agrees not to distribute interim materials (sketches, model screenshots, previews) in public sources without the Administration's approval.

13.2.  The Administration, in turn, does not transfer interim materials to third parties, except to engaged executors.

14. Force Majeure

14.1.  The parties are released from liability for failure to perform obligations in case of force majeure: technical failures, extended unavailability of the game servers, equipment failure, illness or departure of the executor, force majeure on the part of payment systems, and other events beyond the parties' control.

14.2.  In case of prolonged force majeure (more than 60 calendar days), the Player may request a refund of the prepayment or reassignment of the order to another executor.

15. Disputes and Complaints

15.1.  All claims and complaints are submitted to support via official channels.

15.2.  The processing period for submissions is up to 14 calendar days.

15.3.  In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to act in good faith and seek an amicable resolution.

15.4.  The Administration's decision following the review of a dispute is final within the scope of the game service.

16. Final Provisions

16.1.  These rules apply together with the Terms of Service and the general rules of Magicsea Online. In case of conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.

16.2.  The Administration reserves the right to interpret these rules.

16.3.  The current revision of the rules is published on the official website and in the official Telegram channel.
